The settings page lets Admins configure some basic account properties:

  • Upload an organization logo.
  • Add a custom footer message.
  • Flavor Studio API Keys: enable or disable, generate new keys.
  • Set the timezone for message timestamps.

 

Organization Logos

Any time one of your team publishes a Flavor Studio document (downloads or exports reports, for example), the organization’s logo can be embedded in the header of the document. It is possible to upload multiple logos for use in publishing.

 

Custom footer message

The custom footer section allows you to provide text which will be printed at the footer of each published document page. For example:

  • © 2023 YourOrganization. All rights reserved.
  • Confidential and proprietary information.

Note: the maximum number of characters allowed in the footer section is 200.

API Keys

Flavor Studio provides an excellent application programming interface, or API, that allows your organization’s developers to write software that can talk to Flavor Studio. Full developer documentation is provided, and available without a Flavor Studio account.

The API Keys are equivalent to a user-name and password; they allow your developers to log-in to Flavor Studio via the internet. Protect these API Keys as you would any user-name and password. Do not share your secret API keys in publicly accessible areas such GitHub, client-side code, and so forth. Disabling the API from the Settings tab will permanently delete your API keys and render them unusable, giving you complete control of the lifecycle of your API credentials. You can disable and enable the API as many times as you need. Flavor Studio will generate a new public and private key pair each time that the API is enabled.

IMPORTANT: In order to use the Flavor Studio API, you must first read and accept the provided agreement. 

 

To use the  Flavor Studio API:

  1. Click the Admin menu item, or hover over the Admin menu item and click Settings.
  2. Click on the Enable API button in the API section.
  3. Accept the agreement.
  4. A new pair of API Keys will be generated.
  5. Click the Copy Code buttons to the right of each API key.

 

To disable the Flavor Studio API:

  1. Click the Admin menu item, or hover over the Admin menu item and click Settings.
  2. Click on the Disable API button in the API section.

 

To generate a new pair of API keys:

  1. Click the Admin menu item, or hover over the Admin menu item and click Settings.
  2. Click on the Disable API button in the API section.
  3. Click on the Enable API button.
  4. Accept the agreement.
  5. A new pair of API Keys will be generated.
  6. Click the Copy Code buttons to the right of each API key.

IMPORTANT: If you think your API keys may have been stolen, please contact Flavor Studio support.  

 

Timezone

A dropdown list allows you to quickly select the organization's timezone for accurate time-stamping of messages handled by Flavor Studio.

To change your timezone:

  1. Click the Admin menu item, or hover over the Admin menu item and click Settings.
  2. Select the new timezone from the drop-down list.
